Sponsor Invite
On February 9 and 10, 2007 the University of California Santa Barbara Technology Management Program will host its second annual Concept to Commerce summit. I hope you will consider being an integral part of the Summit’s success by becoming a Summit sponsor.
Building on last year’s sold-out and highly acclaimed Summit, this year’s Summit will take an see chg look at how our nation makes the transition from dependency on carbon-based fuels to a sustainable, alternative fuels-based future.
Experts from around the globe will come together over a two-day period to present possible alternative energy solutions, examine the trade-offs and barriers associated with bringing these solutions to market, and work to develop ways of overcoming these barriers.
As a Summit sponsor, there will be many potential business opportunities including growth in strategic partnerships, research collaborations and revenue through increased brand and company recognition; increased brand visibility among top industry leaders and executives from a cross section of arenas including energy, finance, business, economics, and politics; and new business opportunities through networking, media coverage, and visitors to the Summit Web site. Specific benefits for different sponsorship levels are attached.
Daniel Weiss, Co-founder and Managing Partner of the Angeleno Group said of the Summit, "we are enthusiastic return sponsors of the Emerging Energy Technologies Summit because of the exceptional depth and breadth it brings to the topic of adopting emerging energy technologies. We see this summit as a unique opportunity to participate with the nation's experts on developing some of the most exciting and important advanced energy solutions in the country today."
Noteworthy participants include:
- Tim Appenzeller, Assistant Executive Editor, National Geographic
- Larisa Dobriansky, Deputy Assistant of Energy, U.S. Department of Energy
- Charles McDermott, General Partner, RockPort Capital Partners
- Dr. Alan Heeger, Nobel Laureate and Professor of Physics, UC Santa Barbara
